Delivery,Drop Shipping & Warehouse Pickup Policy

1. Purpose

This policy outlines the standards, procedures, responsibilities, and conditions relating to freight delivery, dealer drop shipping, warehouse collection, transfer of risk, and freight-related services provided by WheelsAPE.

This policy should be read in conjunction with the following WheelsAPE policies:

  • Order Processing Standard
  • Warehouse Operation Standard
  • Product Return Policy
  • Warranty Policy
  • Dealer Terms and Conditions

2. General Principles

All orders are subject to:

  • Stock availability;
  • Payment confirmation;
  • Freight availability;
  • Warehouse operating schedules;
  • Operational requirements.

WheelsAPE reserves the right to determine the most appropriate dispatch, freight, fulfilment, and warehouse handling method for each order.

Estimated delivery times provided by WheelsAPE or any freight provider are indicative only and are not guaranteed.


3. Dispatch of Orders

Orders will only be dispatched after full payment has been received and cleared unless otherwise approved in writing by WheelsAPE.

Order processing, payment terms, stock allocation, and backorder management are governed by the WheelsAPE Order Processing Standard.

WheelsAPE reserves the right to delay dispatch where:

  • Payment remains outstanding;
  • Order information is incomplete or inaccurate;
  • Additional verification is required;
  • Stock discrepancies occur;
  • Freight arrangements are unavailable;
  • Warehouse operational constraints exist.

4. Freight and Delivery Services

WheelsAPE may utilise various freight providers, couriers, and transport companies to fulfil deliveries.

Freight services may include:

  • Parcel delivery;
  • Pallet freight;
  • Road freight;
  • Commercial carrier services;
  • Specialised oversized freight services.

The selected carrier may vary depending on:

  • Product dimensions;
  • Product weight;
  • Delivery location;
  • Freight availability;
  • Operational requirements.

WheelsAPE reserves the right to select, replace, or change freight providers without prior notice.


5. Freight Charges

Unless otherwise stated in writing, all WheelsAPE quotations, wholesale pricing, dealer pricing, promotional pricing, website pricing, and published product prices are provided on an ex-warehouse basis and do not include freight charges.

Freight costs may be:

  • Calculated during checkout;
  • Quoted separately;
  • Added to the invoice prior to dispatch;
  • Charged following freight review and verification.

Unless otherwise specified, freight pricing is based on delivery to a standard commercial business address with normal freight access conditions.

WheelsAPE does not deliver to:

  • PO Box addresses;
  • Parcel Locker addresses;
  • Freight forwarding locker services;
  • Virtual office addresses;
  • Any location deemed unsuitable by the freight carrier.

Additional freight charges may apply for:

  • Regional locations;
  • Remote locations;
  • Residential addresses;
  • Limited-access locations;
  • Tail-lift requirements;
  • Special delivery requirements;
  • Re-delivery requests;
  • Failed delivery attempts;
  • Manual handling requirements.

Residential deliveries may incur additional freight charges, handling fees, or carrier surcharges.

Any additional freight costs imposed by the freight carrier shall be payable by the customer.

WheelsAPE reserves the right to revise freight charges where:

  • Delivery information changes;
  • Freight requirements change;
  • Delivery conditions differ from those originally provided;
  • Carrier surcharges are identified after quotation.

Freight quotations are valid for seven (7) calendar days unless otherwise stated in writing.


6. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery timeframes are provided as a guide only.

Actual transit times may vary depending on:

  • Destination;
  • Carrier performance;
  • Freight network conditions.

Factors that may affect delivery times include:

  • Weather conditions;
  • Public holidays;
  • Carrier congestion;
  • Industrial action;
  • Natural disasters;
  • Road closures;
  • Freight provider delays;
  • Warehouse operational delays.

Delivery timeframes commence from the date of dispatch and do not include:

  • Order processing;
  • Payment verification;
  • Stock allocation;
  • Warehouse handling;
  • Public holidays;
  • Delays caused by third-party carriers.

WheelsAPE shall not be liable for delays caused by freight providers or events beyond its reasonable control.


7. Customer Delivery Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for ensuring:

  • Delivery information is accurate and complete;
  • Delivery addresses are accessible for freight vehicles;
  • Suitable unloading facilities are available where required;
  • An authorised person is available to receive and inspect the goods.

Customers are responsible for correctly identifying whether the nominated delivery address is a commercial business address or a residential address.

Where a delivery address is subsequently determined by WheelsAPE or the freight carrier to be residential, additional freight charges may apply and must be paid prior to dispatch.

Customers must ensure that delivery locations are capable of safely receiving freight of the size and weight ordered.

Additional charges arising from:

  • Incorrect address information;
  • Failed delivery attempts;
  • Delivery redirections;
  • Access restrictions;
  • Special handling requirements;

shall be payable by the customer.


8. Signature Requirement and Authority to Leave (ATL)

Due to the high value of wheel and automotive products, WheelsAPE strongly recommends that all deliveries be signed for upon receipt.

Authority to Leave (ATL) deliveries are not recommended.

Where a customer requests ATL or instructs a carrier to leave goods unattended, all risk transfers to the customer immediately upon delivery.

WheelsAPE accepts no responsibility for:

  • Theft;
  • Loss;
  • Damage;
  • Misplacement;
  • Weather-related deterioration;

occurring after an ATL delivery has been completed.


9. Inspection Upon Delivery

Customers must inspect all goods immediately upon receipt.

Customers should verify:

  • Product quantities;
  • Product specifications;
  • Packaging condition;
  • Visible damage.

Any shortages, incorrect products, freight damage, or discrepancies must be reported to WheelsAPE within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery.

Failure to report within this period may affect claim eligibility.


10. Freight Damage Claims

Where freight damage is identified, customers must:

  • Retain all packaging materials;
  • Take clear photographs of packaging and damaged products;
  • Record visible damage at delivery where possible;
  • Provide supporting documentation upon request.

WheelsAPE reserves the right to investigate and assess all freight damage claims before approving:

  • Replacement;
  • Repair;
  • Credit;
  • Refund;
  • Compensation.

Claims submitted outside the reporting period may be rejected.


11. Incorrectly Supplied or Missing Products

Where WheelsAPE supplies an incorrect item or a verified shortage occurs, WheelsAPE may provide an appropriate remedy including:

  • Replacement;
  • Re-dispatch;
  • Credit;
  • Refund.

Customers must notify WheelsAPE within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery.

Claims may be rejected where products have been:

  • Installed;
  • Modified;
  • Used;
  • Damaged after delivery.

12. Dealer Dropshipping Service

12.1 Service Availability

WheelsAPE may provide dropshipping services on behalf of authorised dealers.

All dropshipping requests are subject to:

  • Stock availability;
  • Freight feasibility;
  • Dealer territory requirements;
  • Operational capacity;
  • Approval by WheelsAPE.

12.2 Dealer Territory Protection

WheelsAPE operates a protected dealer network.

Dropshipping services are intended to support deliveries within a dealer’s approved trading territory.

To maintain fair dealer representation and minimise channel conflict, WheelsAPE may restrict, refuse, or cancel dropshipping requests that fall outside a dealer’s authorised territory.


12.3 Interstate and Out-of-Territory Deliveries

For wheel products, WheelsAPE generally does not provide dropshipping services for:

  • Deliveries outside the dealer’s authorised territory;
  • Deliveries into another authorised dealer’s territory;
  • Interstate orders conflicting with dealer network arrangements;
  • Transactions that may negatively impact dealer network integrity.

WheelsAPE retains sole and absolute discretion to determine eligibility for dropshipping services.


12.4 Freight Limitations

Certain locations may be ineligible for dropshipping services due to:

  • Freight restrictions;
  • Excessive freight costs;
  • Carrier limitations;
  • Operational constraints.

Additional freight charges may apply where dropshipping services are approved.


12.5 Right to Refuse

WheelsAPE reserves the right to refuse any dropshipping request that:

  • Conflicts with dealer territory policies;
  • Creates channel conflict;
  • Results in unreasonable freight costs;
  • Falls outside operational capabilities.

12.6 End Customer Contact

WheelsAPE reserves the right to contact end customers directly for:

  • Delivery verification;
  • Warranty support;
  • Product recalls;
  • Freight issue resolution;
  • Compliance requirements.

Such communication shall not create a direct sales relationship between WheelsAPE and the end customer and shall not be considered a breach of dealer territory protection.


13. Warehouse Pick-up

Warehouse collection is available by prior arrangement only.

Customers must not attend the warehouse until they have received confirmation that their order is ready for collection.

All warehouse collection procedures, operating hours, booking requirements, and warehouse handling requirements are governed by the WheelsAPE Warehouse Operation Standard.


14. Third-Party Collection

Customers may authorise a third party to collect goods on their behalf.

Prior to collection, customers must provide:

  • Order number;
  • Invoice number;
  • Company name;
  • Authorised collector’s name.

WheelsAPE and its warehouse partners reserve the right to verify identification before releasing goods.

Once goods have been released to an authorised third party, collection is deemed complete and risk transfers to the customer.


15. Inspection Upon Collection

Customers and authorised representatives must inspect goods prior to leaving the warehouse.

This includes verification of:

  • Product quantity;
  • Product specifications;
  • Packaging condition;
  • Visible damage.

Claims relating to visible damage or shortages may not be accepted after goods have left the warehouse.


16. Transfer of Risk

For delivered orders, risk transfers to the customer upon successful delivery to the nominated delivery address, including deliveries completed under an Authority to Leave (ATL) instruction.

For warehouse collections, risk transfers to the customer upon release of goods from the warehouse.

Ownership of goods remains with WheelsAPE until payment has been received in full.


17. Uncollected Orders

Customers are expected to collect approved pick-up orders within a reasonable period.

WheelsAPE reserves the right to:

  • Require collection appointments to be rebooked;
  • Apply storage charges where appropriate;
  • Release reserved stock back into inventory;
  • Cancel orders in accordance with applicable policies.

18. Force Majeure

WheelsAPE shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, or failures arising from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters;
  • Floods;
  • Bushfires;
  • Severe weather events;
  • Industrial disputes;
  • Government restrictions;
  • Transport disruptions;
  • Carrier failures;
  • Supply chain interruptions.

19. Policy Amendments

WheelsAPE reserves the right to amend, update, or modify this policy at any time without prior notice.

The latest version published on WheelsAPE.com shall apply.
